- You're sorta right. Microsoft hasn't invented anything. However, all
- the technology that they use, they own. How? When new technology comes
- along they buy it and the company that invented it if possible. Then,
- of course, they change it just enough to break any competitors using it.

- OLE is not OpenDoc. OpenDoc goes hand in hand with SOM. How MS could
- implement an improved version of OpenDoc without SOM is beyond me.
